New Film opener ideas

 After the past 2 classes I have learned a better understanding of what a film opener is and how it should be constructed. It turns out my original idea was  no good and for a little while I was stuck and had no clue of what I should do. But now after going over our jam board I picked up a couple of idea I can possibly use. 

1) one idea is a teenage girl who wants to get more active fit. This could be comedy genre. Some idea I had in store consist of

-highlighting the lack of motivation (always sleeping or always on her phone)

-researching ways to get fit and healthy foods 

-try's certain exercises

One problem I may have is constructing a cliff hanger 

2) another idea is the current pandemic where multiple people is effected. This could be thriller. Some ideas I had in mind may be 

-showing different people life's now with a voice over

-how it effects them 

- maybe do a singular person describing their life now and how it changed 

Overall I over came my filmmaker's block and hopefully can start my idea soon

Production sample shots

  What was the filming process like? What worked and what didn't work? The filming process did not take that long being that is was sample clips. I did have to take multiple shots and different angles to find out what looks the best. My sample clips were based on utilizing the staircase. Certain camera positions did not work and my audio was to nosy because of the background noise. Cinematic language

My understanding of    Cinematic language   Cinematic language are the methods and ideas tied together to convey a particular message or multiple messages, through videos and images. Everything that exist in cinematic language also contributes to the communication towards viewers. The technique of editing is crucial part, because this consist of camera angels, transitions and cuts.  Lighting and sounds are other dynamics that makeup a film and its cinematic language. M ise en scene is another aspect of cinematic language that portrays the setting through set design and actors. With these elements of cinematic language, they all tie together to make a bigger picture.  Using horror movies is a good example to explain and describe how these elements would work.
