 Marketing is an everyday thing that is constantly shown to me . Whether it's an pop up ad on YouTube or a shows up on my for you page. Marketing plays the role of showing me things I like or is recommended for me. Based on what apps I use, what websites I like to order from or the type of content I like.  I always see ads on good or recommended tooth paste or anything dental. This is helpful because I have braces so I have to take extra care of my teeth. These sometimes do interest me because they can be simple things I can use or do at home. And sometimes its an advanced way or technical way of cleaning and taking proper care of my mouth. These seem personalized because I would always search up things to use for my braces such as a good way to floss and what's the best toothbrush. The ads can also be links to my everyday websites I use such as amazon and they would give me promo codes to get discounts. I also believe it can sometimes be general because even if I  had braces or not its imperative you take good care of your teeth to prevent harmful things.  This is one example of how marketing plays a role on my life. Certain products or sites can be based on the relationship of what I like and prefer. It is important and a everyday life tool that I use and sometimes rely on.

My understanding of    Cinematic language   Cinematic language are the methods and ideas tied together to convey a particular message or multiple messages, through videos and images. Everything that exist in cinematic language also contributes to the communication towards viewers. The technique of editing is crucial part, because this consist of camera angels, transitions and cuts.  Lighting and sounds are other dynamics that makeup a film and its cinematic language. M ise en scene is another aspect of cinematic language that portrays the setting through set design and actors. ''The Crossing'' Discussion Post

  The filmmakers use cinematic language to manipulate viewers reactions to the film  by cutting  certain scenes, using different shot  angles,  cinematic  invisibility,  and point of view .  With these things the filmmakers were able to connect them to one another making the ''perfect scene''. By using these film  techniques,  it allows each viewer to interpret  what is  going on their reaction to it .  For  example,  toward the end of the short film there is cinematic invisibility .  This technique was used when the  actor  was grabbed from behind then it went to a black screen. Right after it shows a clip with a closeup of one of  the lights . This was a  fast-moving  transition between the two shots. Production sample shots

  What was the filming process like? What worked and what didn't work? The filming process did not take that long being that is was sample clips. I did have to take multiple shots and different angles to find out what looks the best. My sample clips were based on utilizing the staircase. Certain camera positions did not work and my audio was to nosy because of the background noise.
